Showcased at the recent FDCI X LFW event, the men’s and womenswear collection by JJV by JJ Valaya titled ‘Rumeli- The Summer Story’ has been made with sustainable Tencel textiles for a bold effect.
JJV is the new bridge-to-luxury brand by designer JJ Valaya whose new collection featured monochrome, graphic prints, and sleek silhouettes.

For women, leather-look obi-style belts, the brand’s signature belted sarees, and oversized animal print gave a slight resort feel. For the men, sharply tailored fusion-style suits paired with printed turbans had a bold effect.

The first physical edition of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week takes place at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium at India Gate in New Delhi from March 23 to March 27.
The runway shows are broadcast live on the organisers’ respective websites and social media accounts this season and designers can retail their wares at the fashion week’s designer showroom segment.
