Kornit Digital Week opens with a confluence of virtual and physical show

Held at the Freemasons’ Hall in London, UK on May 15, the Kornit Fashion Week was opened with a confluence of a virtual reality and physical show by designer Manish Arora.

The event opened with a virtual reality presentation showcasing Arora’s creativities followed by a runway show to highlight the results of Arora and Kornit Digital’s collaboration.

Kornit’s technology was used to present Arora’s kaleidoscopic designs on-demand and with sustainability.

The runway event showcased the ability of digital production to make the industry more sustainable and efficient.

It highlighted Arora’s classic multicoloured mixed prints embellished with sequins and animal imagery on dresses, jumpsuits, and layered sets.

The event enabled Kornit Digital to connect the virtual world with the physical world of finished apparel in new and fascinating ways, says Ronen Samuel, CEO.

Kornit Fashion Week showcased collections by an array of designers as well as a home décor collection by Preen by Thornton Bregazzi titled ‘Breakfast in Bed’.

The event also featured keynote and panel sessions by industry names on current topics.
