Woodland increases focus on apparel segment

India’s leading brand of shoes and outerwear, Woodland, is increasing its focus on the apparel segment.

Woodland not only has in-house apparel manufacturing but also is associated with vendors to outsource the same.

The brand is also looking for new partners who have good technology and can deliver the newer type of products.

The company, which offers Woodland jackets, woodland leather shoes for men, woodland leather belt, woodland mens wallet, denim, tees, sweaters, and sweatshirts, is witnessing growth in every category. It is looking for summerwear and a technical product to offer lightweight garments with antimicrobial, sweat observing, quick dry, properties, says Harkirat Singh, Managing Director

Woodland is also working with the Indian army and offers specialized garments to the soldiers. It aims to promote Make in India and indigenous garments imported by the army; adds Singh.
