The Autumn/Winter ’18 collection of Jack & Jones is replete with edgy, rebellious yet trend setting fashion pieces, a must for any fashion forward millennials wardrobe. The collection boasts of myriad acid and enzyme wash treatments and laser technology in denims. “We have also introduced earth tints with extensive mud wash that satiates the rising need of ruggedness,” notes a brand spokesperson. “We have incorporated Lycra patches and are reintroducing the relaxed fit. The current trend is heavily inspired by the 90s bringing back athleisure and shades of indigo that make for majority of denim collection,” he adds.
Widening reach across India
Jack & Jones is known for its quirky T-shirts, casual shirts and denims which forms the biggest chunk of its business. Casual wear contributes the most to the brand’s overall business. The brand doesn’t focus only on urban markets. It has increased its footprint across Tier II and III cities to widen its reach. “There is a huge untapped potential in these cities, owing to evolving needs of young consumers who are influenced by pop culture and high fashion trends,” states the spokesperson. “As fashion is not only an industry but a lifestyle, we want to bring it to as many cities and as many people as possible.”
Jack & Jones India currently has 68 stores and 404 shop-in-shops spread across the country. The brand plans to explore more opportunities in Tier II & III markets.
The power of e-commerce
“E-commerce is the biggest platform that helps a brand to connect with its customers across the country. This platform allows brands to be omnipresent, increase customer accessibility and remain relevant in the retail space as well,” the spokesperson explains.
Jack & Jones is available with all leading online partners. “Online retail has allowed us to be closer to our customers across the country. The response has been encouraging and we look forward to increasing our product range in the online space.” The brand is also incorporating technology into its in-store and online experiences and making a headway in the right direction.
