Three years after setting up a fully-owned subsidiary in India, sports apparel manufacturer, Under Armor has launched its distributor model in the country.
The Baltimore-based company has appointed a company launched by Tushar Goculdas, Underdog Athletics as its local distributor and master franchisee.

Underdog Athletics was launched in April 2021 to prepare for the takeover.
Off late, Under Armour has been expanding its distribution network across the world including countries in the Southeast Asian region, South Africa and Japan.

India is the latest entrant to this list.
Under Armour operates 28 franchisee-owned and operated outlets in India and plans to continue adding about 10 stores a year in the coming years.
