Myntra to sell inhouse brands in the US through Walmart

Myntra, acquired by Walmart 10 months ago, is looking to sell its in-house brands in the US through Walmart. The e-commerce platform enabled Myntra to be online in Canada and also plans to launch the brand in its stores in Canada in the third quarter.

Walmart is plans to take up fashion lessons from Myntra and see what can be implemented in other markets. Myntra along with Jabong and Flipkart Fashion commands major market share in the Indian online fashion market. The company, following the Walmart acquisition witnessed restructuring and leadership changes in December. Chief Executive Officer, Ananth Naryanan moved out of the firm and was replaced by Amar Nagaram, the former CEO of the fashion unit of Flipkart.
