Neeru’s opens in Pune

Neeru’s has opened a store in Pune. This is its first store in Pune. The new store is spread over 2000 sq ft. The collection presents the finest craftsmanship and grandeur of luxurious fabrics with just the perfect blend of traditional Indian finery with contemporary styles.

The Indian ethnic wear brand currently has 49 exclusive stores and around 30 multi brand outlets in more than 25 Indian cities with one in Dubai.

Neeru’s will be opening its 50 store this week in Hyderabad. The company has plans to expand further this fiscal especially in Tier II and III locations as well as international expansion in the Middle East and USA. There has been a rise in the number of exclusive brand outlets and multi brand outlets in the women’s ethnic wear market.

The ethnic wear industry in the country has evolved significantly. The rising female workforce is one reason. There has been a rise in their purchasing power and awareness about fashion.

Organized players are using the digital media to reach out to the masses and strengthen their brand positioning. An increasing number of players is foraying into online retailing by launching portals to leverage the country’s fast growing e-commerce space. Manufacturers are enticing women consumers toward ethnic wear by introducing their own web portals.
