Reliance Retail is the preferred partner for brands

Reliance Retail is the preferred partner for several marquee brands coming to India. Its aim is to be among the world’s top 20 retailers. Over the last five years, the company has witnessed a three-fold rise in per-store productivity. Reliance Retail served 15 crore customers last year and registered over 500 million footfalls, becoming India’s preferred shopping destination. It has expanded its footprint at a rate of eight stores a day, opening a total of 3000 new stores this year. The stores cover all corners of the country, with a presence in nearly 7000 towns and cities. Over two-thirds of the 10,415 stores are in Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV towns and these towns are connected with a modern supply chain capable of delivering products from distribution centers spread across the country.

Reliance Retail operates 10,644 retail stores in over 6,700 cities covering an area of over 23 million sq ft and 516 petro retail outlets. Its retail outlets offer food, groceries, apparel and footwear, lifestyle and home improvement products, and electronic goods like phones, laptops, refrigerators, TVs and ACs. In grocery, it is India’s largest modern trade retailer and sells nearly half the fresh fruits and vegetables sold by the entire modern retail ecosystem in India.
