Sampada will have a pop-up in Pune, from December 8 to 10, 2019. The women’s wear brand will present a collection of traditional and fusion wear garments such as khadi kurtas, kaftans, and dupattas. With deep jewel tones and subtle floral prints, the collection is understated yet luxurious and off-white pieces and sheer textiles add a delicate element. Designed for the winter wedding season, the collection is also accompanied by accessories like lac bangles and mojris.
Sampada launched in 1994 and currently has brick-and-mortar stores in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. The brand specialises in block printed textiles and aims to celebrate and promote India’s artisan heritage traditions. Samprada has a thoughtfully curated collection of women’s wear, tailored from traditional weaves, and hand block printed artisanal textile in natural dyes. Each piece is hand cut and handmade.
The collection Mint Rose has fresh colors and prints in comfortable silhouettes. Made from handmade textile, expertly printed, every cut, stitch, lapel, and button is mindfully tailored into the clothing. The label is committed to Indian textile and simple, beautiful silhouettes. It sources artisanal, handprinted textile directly from long-standing, community-run units in Rajasthan and creates well-tailored, easy to wear, fuss-free clothing in New Delhi.
