For its launch into India, West Elm has partnered with Reliance Brands Ltd

The brand debuted in India with its first store on Jio World Drive in Mumbai, followed by a second location at the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Functional furniture, bedding and bath, kitchen and dining, lighting, décor, and more will be available in West Elm locations.
"The new West Elm stores are a lifestyle experience where we want everyone to explore and discover the beauty of West Elm designs," Puneet Behal, senior vice president at Reliance Brands Limited, said in a statement.

"The brand's debut into the Indian market is strategic," he continued, "filling the lack of a comprehensive modern lifestyle brand that is accessible to the design-conscious client."
West Elm has collaborated with interior designer Ashiesh Shah to produce a unique capsule collection of handcrafted rugs and cushion coverings that will be on show at the new locations to add an Indian touch.
