Two-day Swedish lifestyle event to be hosted in Mumbai on June 5

Swedish Style will be held in Mumbai on June 5 and 6, 2019. Swedish minimalism has been contextualized in the vibrant and dynamic city of Mumbai. This will be a lifestyle event showcasing the Scandinavian country’s brands and creative professionals. The event will showcase well-known brands like Idea, Volvo and H&M along with lesser-known fashion and design labels as well as artists, photographers and film-makers.

Fashion brands like Eytys, Our Legacy and House of Dagmar will be present along with electric motorcycle brand Cake and Airinum, a health accessories start-up. Eytys will showcase its work-wear and key looks for spring/summer 2019. Our Legacy will show the full brand offering across men’s and women’s collections, including accessories and footwear. The brand is known for applying custom-developed fabrics on signature shapes based on reworked yet recognizable silhouettes.

The event will also showcase the work of artists, photographers and architects from Sweden. There will be a series of panel discussions on subjects like women in design, smart living and sustainability.

From popularizing less-is-more designs to launching new buzzwords like mysa (cosy) and lagom (right amount), Sweden offers a wealth of trendsetting ideas to the world. Swedish Style has been previously organized in cities like New York and Tokyo.
