Gautam Hari Singhania reappointed as Managing Director for 5 years
Raymond has re-appointed Gautam Hari Singhania as the managing director of the company for a term of five years, effective from July 1, 2024.
A commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai, Singhania has been serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond since September 2000.
During his tenure, he led strategic decisions such as restructuring the Raymond Group and divesting its non-core businesses of Steel, Cement, and Synthetics. This restructuring has allowed the group to consolidate its position with a focused market-oriented approach.
Under Singhania's leadership, the Raymond Group has made significant progress, with a vision to elevate the Raymond Brand from one of the most respected Indian brands to one of the best in global markets. Singhania has actively pursued the creation of new brands and successfully directed the group towards sustained growth. Additionally, the group has ventured into the Real Estate business under his guidance.
