Karthik Balagopalan quits as Managing Director, Puma India

Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director, Puma India has quit from his position in the company to focus on family priorities in Germany.
His departure marks a leadership change at a critical time for Puma India, one of the company's fastest-growing markets.
Balagopalan had held the Managing Director position since August 2023, succeeding Abhishek Ganguly. He has a long history with Puma, joining the company in 2006.

Before becoming the Managing Director for India, he served as the Global Director of Retail and E-commerce, leading the company's global Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business.
Puma stated it will officially announce the successor soon. In the interim, core functions across the Indian business are expected to proceed as planned under the existing leadership structure.
