Chique revolutionizes Indian fashion with tier-2 and 3 expansion

Indian women's apparel brand Chique is set to reshape the fashion scene as it embarks on an ambitious plan to expand into tier-2 and 3 cities across the country. The company is gearing up to launch more than 150 stores in the next three years, a strategic move following its success in 26 major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

Chique is recognizing the burgeoning demand from these smaller cities and is poised to collaborate with over 10 multi-brand outlets (MBOs) in various locations by the end of this fiscal year.

Growth path

This expansion strategy is anticipated to drive an impressive 50% year-on-year growth for the brand. Chique's unique blend of traditional and western sensibilities has resonated with a diverse customer base.

Additionally, Chique is eyeing international growth, with the UAE as its starting point, after successfully establishing an 800-square-foot store in Dubai last year. Established in 2015, Chique caters to urban women aged 20 to 60, offering a wide range of clothing options, from workwear to occasion wear.
