IKEA India’s maiden Bengaluru store to feature over 7,000 products

IKEA India’s first store in Bengaluru will feature over 7,000 affordable, sustainable and well-designed products from the brand.
Spread over 12.2 acre, the 460,000sq ft. store will also house one of the largest children’s play area ‘Småland’ along with a 1,000-seater restaurant and a bistro serving a mix of Swedish and Indian delicacies.
The store will serve as a one-stop destination for all home-furnishing requirements, says Anje Heim, Market Manager-Karnataka. It will offer a unique and affordable range to cater to the needs of entire family, he adds.
The large format store will be connected to the Nagasandra metro station for faster and comfortable commuting. It will offer services including remote planning, personal shopper, and click and connect.
IKEA started its e-commerce operations in Bengaluru, with a shopping website and an app in 2021. It has adopted an omnichannel approach to expand its operations in the country and will focus on more options for customers through both online and physical channels.
