Fine jewelry brand Tanishq has expanded its brick-and-mortar presence in the US by opening a new exclusive brand outlet in Chicago. The new store retails a wide range of traditional Indian bridal and occasion style jewelry.
Located in Aurora, the store opened in time for the US’s spring wedding season. It offers gold, diamond and gemstone jewelry pieces made by Tanishq’s artisans in India.
The store has a dedicated segment for wedding jewelry.

Although Tanishq has been available on e-commerce in the US for nearly two years, the brand aims to bring forth an exquisite range of jewelry pieces, including their one-of-a-kind collections, Dharohar and Tales of Mystique in the market.
Tanishq opened its first store in Chicago in August 2008 to cater to the city’s shoppers. Located in Woodfield Mall, the store benefitted from high tourist rates and an established desi community. However, Tanishq had to later close the store.
