The initiative comes on the heels of legislator Rais Shaikh's impassioned plea in the Legislative Assembly, addressing the industry's struggles.
State Textile Minister Chandrakant Patil promptly responded by announcing the formation of the study group. Shaikh, hailing the swift government action, expressed optimism about justice for the power loom sector.
Encouraging stakeholders to voice their concerns, Shaikh anticipates a transformative impact as the committee plans to compile a comprehensive report on issues and propose measures to fortify the power loom industry statewide.
