V2 Retail registers 79% rise in profit to Rs 6 crore in Q4, FY25

Value fashion retailer V2 Retail registered a 79 per cent rise in profit amounting to Rs 6 crore in Q4, FY25 ending March 31. The company's revenue for the quarter also rose by 69 per cent to Rs 499 crore from Rs 296 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
For the full FY25, V2 Retail posted a net profit of Rs 72 crore on sales revenue totaling Rs 1,884 crore.
Ram Chandra Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, states, V2 Retail set a new performance benchmark in FY 2025 with highest-ever revenue and profit after tax (PAT). The company achieved a industry-leading performance despite a challenging environment marked by a high base and muted consumer sentiment, he adds.
This exceptional outcome underscores the effectiveness of the company’s strategic initiatives, that have driven innovation in product development, enriched the in-store experience, and significantly enhanced customer satisfaction. During the financial year, V2 Retail also expanded its footprint by opening 74 new stores. The company ended the year with a total of 189 stores, encompassing a retail area of 20.27 lakh sq ft.
