Myntra is preparing for a huge EORS

09 December 2021, Mumbai:

The 15th iteration of Myntra's biannual EORS (end of reason sale) is planned to take place from December 18 to 23, attracting 60 million visitors and a platform capable of handling 15,000 orders per minute at peak times.

Myntra, a subsidiary of the Flipkart Group said in a statement that the largest year-end fashion carnival will feature 1 million designs from over 5,000 brands.

As part of the omnichannel integration, 350+ brands across 2,900+ locations are helping to fuel the event.

The 6-day event is projected to cater to the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle demands of more than 40 lakh unique clients throughout the country, with demand expected to increase by 2.5X compared to BAU days.

With over 20% more traffic than the last winter edition, Myntra plans to add roughly 700k new customers over the course of the event, with Tier-II and Tier-III cities and towns accounting for over half of total traffic.

"EORS is the nation's most awaited fashion carnival, and we are set to showcase the best selection at cutting value deals from across categories, for our clients," Sharon Pais, Chief Business Officer, Myntra, said.

We've gone a long way in understanding the pulse of fashion-conscious buyers, and that gives us an advantage in curating the best for each customer cohort, with 14 editions under our belt.

We expect a large number of new clients to meet their current fashion and beauty requirements.” Myntra's shipping package will be comprised of recycled paper, eliminating the need for plastic.

Furthermore, Myntra uses recycled paper to cushion items and has avoided using plastic for inside packaging whenever possible.

Two of Myntra's major fulfillment centers, in Bilaspur and Bhiwandi, are solar-powered, bolstering the company's sustainability initiatives.

On Myntra, the kidswear sector has grown by 100% Y-o-Y so far this year, and for EORS-15, over 350 domestic and international brands will offer 1.1L+ designs at competitive prices.

To offer a wide range of the latest branded fashion and lifestyle wear, the company has partnered with over 5,000+ leading fashion and lifestyle brands in the country, including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Levis, Wrangler, Arrow, Jealous 21, Diesel, CAT, Harley Davidson, Ferrari, Timberland, US Polo, FabIndia, Biba, and many more.
