Amethyst, Fashion boutique to launch three brands, Sonam Dubal, Sunita Shanker, Jason & Anshuthree brands in ‘Shopping fair from December 22 to 31’

Multi-brand fashion boutique Amethyst will launch collections for three brands, Sonam Dubal, Sunita Shanker, and Jason & Anshu, in Chennai at its shopping fair from December 22 to 31.
Amethyst will bring three up-and-coming brands to Chennai this December to launch their collections in the city at its outlet in Royapettah, the boutique announced in a press release. Sonam Dubal will present ‘Mapping Memories’, a collection which celebrates traditional handloom weaves and focuses on ikats and brocades.
Dark hues are contrasted with rich pops of colour and painterly floral motifs. The collection is priced from Rs 5,000 ($65.65) to Rs 35,000.
Womenswear designer Sunita Shanker will present a fusion wear collection of halter jumpsuits, coats, jackets, dresses, skirts, tops, overlays, and tunics fabricated from traditional textiles.
Techniques including Bandhani and Kantha decorate the collection’s clean silhouettes and garments are designed to be mixed and matched with prices beginning at Rs 4,000.
Finally, Jason & Anshu’s ‘Small Shop’ will launch a new collection ‘Roam’ at the shopping event. Designed to be timeless pieces, the collection uses silk, velvet, and crepe mixed with techniques including Shibori and colour composites. The result is a line of eclectic garments with mixed prints and loose silhouettes. Prices start at Rs 7,000.
