T Rajkumar is chairman, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI). RakeshMehra has been elected as deputy chairman. AshwinChandranis vice-chairman.
Rajkumar is the chairman of the Textile Sector Skill Council. He is a director at the National Skill Development Corporation and the former chairman of the Southern India Mills’ Association.
He is also the chairman and managing Trustee of Global Pathway School, Coimbatore, and secretary of NachimuthuGounderRukmaniAmmal Charitable Trust, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, apart from being actively involved in various industry bodies and educational institutions. He also serves as an independent director in Coimbatore Smart City.
Additionally, Rajkumar is a member of the Governing Council of Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council and South India Textile Research Association, Coimbatore. Rakesh Mehra is the chairman of BanswaraSyntex.. Since 2018, he has been the president of the Indian Spinners Association.
He is the former chairman of Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council. AshwinChandran is the chairman and managing director of PrecotMeridien. He is also a member of the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council.
