Bisleri International partners EcoLine to repurpose used PET bottles into high-quality fashion

Bisleri International has partnered with Shree Renga Polyester’s sustainable brand, EcoLine Clothing to repurpose used PET bottles into high-quality fashion and lifestyle products. This initiative is an extension of Bisleri’s ‘Bottles For Change’ program.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project was signed by Angelo George, CEO, Bisleri International, and K Sankar, Chairman, Shree Renga Polyester. K Ganesh, Head -Sustainability and CSR, Bisleri International, and Senthil Sankar, Managing Director, Shree Renga Polyester and Co-founder, EcoLine Clothing were also present at the occasion.

Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to transform collected PET bottles into items like jackets, uniforms, bags, and various other apparel items using EcoLine's innovative ‘bottle-to-fabric’ technology. This process incorporates dope dyeing and nanotechnology to enhance product durability and sustainability. This model has previously demonstrated success in partnerships with the Indian Army (Siachen) and the Royal Government of Bhutan.
