The Punjab Government has extended the tenure of Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, as Vice Chairman of the Economic Policy and Planning Board for another three years, until August 22, 2028. The extension, granted with Cabinet Minister rank, reflects the state’s continued confidence in his leadership, vision, and contribution to Punjab’s economic growth.
This decision, approved by the Honourable Chief Minister of Punjab, comes at a crucial phase as the state advances industrial growth, public-private partnerships, infrastructure projects, and youth-centric employment initiatives. Gupta’s reappointment is seen as key to driving forward a progressive, business-friendly economic agenda.
