Saurav Ghosal to be Agilitas Sports’ new Director – High Performance Sports

An innovation-driven sportswear and athleisure solutions platform, Agilitas Sports has appointed India’s most revered squash player Saurav Ghosal as its new Director – High Performance Sports. In this key leadership role, Ghosal will spearhead Agilitas' ambition to shape the future of performance innovation and contribute to the marketing and distribution strategy for its high-performance product line.

Ghosal will also collaborate closely with the core leadership team to define product strategy, oversee performance R&D, and manage go-to-market execution for the high-performance category. His hands-on experience and athlete-first approach will also influence collaborations, athlete partnerships, and grassroots engagement initiatives.

Beginning his squash journey at a very young age, the Kolkata-born Ghosal trained at the ICL Squash Academy in Chennai. His exceptional talent and determination led him to refine his skills in the UK, where he gained invaluable international competitive experience. Ghosal's illustrious career includes reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 10 in April 2019. He has proudly represented India in numerous prestigious tournaments, notably winning India's first-ever squash medal (a bronze in singles and mixed doubles) at the Commonwealth Games - making him the only Indian to win an individual squash medal. He also boasts an impressive nine medals at the Asian Games, second only to legendary athlete PT Usha (who has 11). Ghosal is also a proud recipient of the Arjuna Award in 2006.
