Uniqlo to open first store in Pune at The Pavillion

Global Japanese apparel retailer, Uniqlo will open its first store in Pune, India on September 26, 2025, at The Pavillion. This will be Uniqlo’s 18th store in the country, bringing its signature LifeWear clothing-designed to enhance everyday life-to Pune's vibrant and rapidly growing urban population.

Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Uniqlo India, emphasizes on the brand's commitment to growing its presence throughout India and making LifeWear accessible to more customers. Spanning 9,213 sq ft on the ground floor, the new store will offer a comprehensive range of LifeWear for men, women, kids, and babies.

The collection will feature Uniqlo’s popular categories, including Flannel Shirts, Denim, Knits, Bra Tops, Core T-shirts, Easy Pants, and Polos. Customers will also find innovative functional fabrics like Heattech, Fleece, and Pufftech, known for their comfort and performance.

Uniqlo is the largest brand owned by Japanese retail holding company, Fast Retailing Co, one of the world's largest apparel retailers. The brand continues to expand globally with over 2,500 stores worldwide across Japan, Asia, Europe, and North America, solidifying its status as a major international brand.
