A standout brand in the H&M Group's portfolio, COS has officially entered the Indian market with the opening of its first store at Select Citywalk Mall in New Delhi.
Designed as an exploration of craftsmanship, materiality, and modern culture, the store blends curated, high-quality furnishings to create a warm and inviting retail environment, reflecting the brand’s global reputation for sleek, minimalist design
The interior architecture highlights COS’s commitment to premium materials and sustainability/ The exterior features Armourcoat clay lime plaster, which develops a natural, site-specific finish. It displays ready-to-wear pieces on sleek aluminum railing systems and recycled shelving units sourced from Smile Plastics.
The floor showcases terrazzo tiles by Grassi Pietre, made from 90 per cent recycled material, complemented by hand-tufted wool rugs from Kasthall. A sculptural table by Paper Factor—made from recycled cellulose fibers and natural pigments- anchors the center of the space.
The store doubles as a gallery for classic and contemporary design pieces, which soften the rooms and enhance the luxury atmosphere. Some of the pieces at the store the elegant Scarpa 925 chair by Cassina and Karakter, featuring a sculptural wooden frame and saddle leather upholstery, and the iconic, organically formed Pumpkin sofa designed by Pierre Paulin for Ligne Roset.
The furniture selection also features Resident’s Offset coffee table - a solid-oak piece known for its asymmetric form - and candy-colored Bon Bon wall and table lamps by Helle Mardahl. Hand-upholstered pouffes from NOR11 complete the lounge areas.
