Recognized as India's premier made-to-measure menswear brand, Bombay Shirt Company (BSC) is dramatically increasing its retail presence across the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) with the opening of three new stores at high-profile venues including Khan Market, Mall of India (Noida), Ambience Mall (Vasant Kunj), and Vegas Mall (Dwarka). With three additional stores planned for Gurugram and West Delhi before year-end, this aggressive growth establishes Delhi NCR as BSC’s second-largest market after Mumbai.
Akshay Narvekar, CEO of BSC, emphasizes that the expansion aims to create refined spaces where customers experience the joy of personalization, craftsmanship, and style. The goal is to build a brand that empowers men to express themselves confidently through superior fit and detail.
BSC's expansion utilizes a dual approach: broadening its retail footprint while diversifying its product line. As part of this, the brand launched a dedicated winterwear category across North India, extending its made-to-measure philosophy to seasonal outerwear. This product diversification caters directly to regional climate needs.
The physical expansion focuses on high-footfall, experience-driven destinations, continuing the shift started with its Select City Walk store in 2024. Beyond Delhi NCR, BSC's national momentum remains robust, with over 10 new stores opened across India in the last 18 months. This includes flagship ‘The Den’ concept spaces in Mumbai, which reimagine menswear retail as a full lifestyle experience. ‘The Den; blends custom fittings with artisanal offerings like Trumpet Shoes and grooming services, transforming the store visit into an immersive experience.
