Shanti Banaras launches their first store in Delhi's Mehrauli neighborhood

Shanti Banaras, a saree business, has established its first brick-and-mortar store in Mehrauli, New Delhi. The boutique sells Shanti Banaras' premium Zari sarees. On December 1, Shanti Banaras stated on Facebook, "We welcome you all to our newly constructed Delhi shop, enveloped in the richness of lush greens, golden radiance, and the majesty of Qutub Minar."
The Twin Seduction, an interior design firm, was in charge of the shop, with Rama Ranjit Mehra as the principal designer. Traditional artwork, golden colors, and sumptuous seats for customers are included in the warm-toned, palatial setting. According to the firm, the interior design of the store aims to commemorate traditional Zari and provide a nostalgic appeal.
Shanti Banaras co-founder Amrit Shah remarked on Facebook, "Our ambition was to develop a store that gives simple access to Real Zari, and that is why we are bringing this experience of Banaras and its handmade expertise to Mehrauli."
Shanti Banaras began as a saree sales enterprise run by a family in 1950. In 1972, the company began producing its own sarees, and in 1992, it entered the power loom market.
Following the establishment of its first plant in 2000, the company introduced the 'Shanti' brand in 2019, which it also sells through its own e-commerce site.
