Fabindia organizes fashion show in Kuala Lumpur

Indian lifestyle and craft brand Fabindia celebrated its 10th anniversary in Malaysia with a fashion show in Kuala Lumpur. Highlighting the brand's unique fusion of traditional Indian textiles and contemporary design, the event reaffirmed its commitment to artisan heritage and sustainable fashion.

Titled, ‘Showcasing Fabindia in Color,’ the fashion show featured 20 models adorned in Fabindia's signature outfits. The presentation underscored the brand's core values: handcrafted textiles, the preservation of cultural heritage, and a strong focus on sustainable fashion practices.

The event served as a testament to Fabindia's dedication to conscious consumerism and its ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with its Malaysian clientele.

Fabindia opened its first store in Malaysia at NU Sentral in 2015. The brand has since expanded to three stores in Malaysia – located in NU Sentral, Masjid India, and Penang. This year also marked the expansion of its franchise operations into Singapore.

Established in 1960, Fabindia is celebrated for connecting over 55,000 rural artisans across India with global markets. Its extensive product range includes apparel, accessories, home furnishings, and organic foods, all emphasizing ethical sourcing and the preservation of traditional craft techniques.
