Arvind Fashions appoints Saikot Das as new Chief Brand & Strategy Officer

Arvind Fashions has appointed Saikot Das as its new Chief Brand & Strategy Officer, effective August 19, 2025. In this new role, Das will lead the company’s brand strategy, enhancing consumer experiences, and driving growth initiatives across AFL’s extensive portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands as the company enters its next phase of accelerated growth.

Das brings over 20 years of cross-industry experience to the position and is recognized for his strategic vision, commercial expertise, and strong consumer-centric approach. With a background spanning FMCG, retail, media, and apparel, he has a proven track record of delivering sustainable growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping culturally relevant brands.

Most recently, Das served as Senior Director of Marketing & Brand Experience at Levi Strauss & Co, where he managed marketing operations across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. During his tenure, he partnered with icons like Deepika Padukone and Diljit Dosanjh and embedded the Levi’s brand into youth and music culture through collaborations with Lollapalooza and the Dilluminati Tour. His efforts were instrumental in transforming Levi’s from a denim-focused label into a strong lifestyle brand.

Before Levi’s, Das held leadership roles at Colgate-Palmolive, managing category and brand management, customer marketing, and commercial operations. He later served as Business Head at Olam International in Africa, where he managed a full business P&L with exposure to commodity trading, global supply chains, and risk management. At Star TV (Disney India), he drove channel growth and reinforced prime-time dominance with data-driven content and impactful marketing strategies.
