Arvind Fashions has appointed Amisha Jain as the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1. Her appointment follows the exit of Shailesh Chaturvedi, Former Managing Director and CEO, who stepped down on September 30.
Having joined Arvind Fashions on August 13, 2025, Jain has over two decades of experience in the fashion and retail industry. She previously worked in various leadership roles at major consumer brands including Levi Strauss & Co, Zivame, Nike India, and Arvind.
Under Chaturvedi's leadership, Arvind Fashions navigated a substantial period of transformation and consolidation, focusing on tighter cost controls, operational restructuring, and achieving sustainable profitability across its portfolio of brands.
With Jain now at the helm, AFL - which manages leading lifestyle brands such as US Polo Assn, Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, and Flying Machine - is expected to build on this foundation.
Her extensive experience in building consumer-focused brands suggests a renewed strategic emphasis on digital engagement, omnichannel expansion, and operational efficiency. The company has already been focusing on optimizing its distribution network while scaling its e-commerce channels.
This leadership shift comes as the organized fashion retail market is experiencing a robust recovery, driven by strong festive demand and increasing consumer spending. Arvind Fashions states, Jain’s appointment signals a continuity of strategy paired with a stronger focus on innovation and customer experience - two areas she has championed throughout her career.
