Anahi India launches first brick-and-mortar store in Lisbon

11 December 2025, Mumbai

Friends and business partners Ana Abreu and Rita Galamba have just launched the first brick-and-mortar store for their Portuguese fashion brand, Anahí India, at 8 Marvila in Lisbon.

The new 270-sq-ft store showcases a full range of products, including unisex jackets, dresses, and kimonos - a range they began selling nearly a decade ago at music festivals, initially with men's shirts sourced directly from India. It also features accessories like sarongs, karnatakas, and jewelry.

Opened at the end of November, the debut shop asserts Anahí India's vibrant identity. The store's clean, industrial, and alternative aesthetic creates a constant, deliberate contrast with the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of the recycled and repurposed fabrics used in their collections.

In addition to unique and exclusive pieces of Indian origin, the brand offers collaboratively created designs that both Ana and Rita would wear year-round, often in materials like silk. Central to the brand is a deep commitment to sustainability and preserving India's rich textile heritage.

Founded in Portugal in 2017, the Anahí brand represents a true fusion of cultures and traditions, with production spanning both India and Portugal. This intercultural collaboration results in a diverse range of clothing and accessories that successfully combine the essence of East and West.
