Suxus Menswear has accelerated its retail expansion in Southern India with the launch of its newest outlet in Chinniyampalayam, Coimbatore. This opening marks the brand’s 20th store overall and its third strategic location within the Coimbatore textile hub. By hitting this 20-unit milestone, SUXUS is solidifying its position in the ‘value-driven’ menswear segment, a category currently buoyed by a 10.5 per cent projected revenue increase in the Indian apparel industry for FY26.
Volume-driven growth in Tier-II clusters
The new Coimbatore store underscores Suxus's commitment to the ‘factory outlet’ pricing model, where high inventory turnover compensates for lean margins - often maintained between 5 per cent and 10 per cent. This strategy directly addresses the demand in Tier-II cities, which now cushion the broader Indian textile market - estimated at $194 billion for 2025–26. While competitors face rising customer acquisition costs, SUXUS leverages its database of over 1.5 million direct customers and a debt-free operational model to drive localized footfall. The brand’s focus on year-round ‘honest pricing’ has allowed it to maintain a reported turnover of over ₹60 crore, even amidst fluctuating raw material costs.
Roadmap to 400 outlets and job creation
This launch is a tactical step toward Faizal Ahamed, Founder & CEO’s ambitious ‘Vision 2030,’ which aims to scale the network to 420 stores. Beyond mere retail footprint, the expansion is designed to capitalize on the regional PM MITRA textile park initiatives and the growing employment ecosystem in Tamil Nadu. The state remains India's largest apparel exporter, and localized retail brands like Suxus are increasingly seen as stabilizers for domestic consumption. Every new store is a reminder of the trust our customers place in us, states Ahamed, emphasizing that the focus remains on building a sustainable, long-term retail infrastructure that creates significant regional employment.
Suxus Menswear is a Tamil Nadu-based manufacturer and retailer specializing in affordable high-quality shirts, trousers, and denims. Operating on a negative working capital and debt-free model, the brand targets mass-market consumers with products priced between Rs 30 and Rs 399. Founded in 2006 by third-generation entrepreneur Faizal Ahamed, Suxus has transformed from a B2B supplier into a leading regional retail chain with aggressive plans to enter the North Indian market by 2030.
