Apparel Group India is looking to expand its brands to cities like Vadodara, Indore, Kochi, Trivandrum, Amritsar, and Ludhiana, where the demand for brands is growing.

Since premium fashion and lifestyle brands have an exponential capacity to grow in India, the company is looking at expanding its portfolio of international brands to metros and other tier cities in India. As a lot of new malls are coming up, Apparel Group is looking at expanding its brands to these cities.

The group overall has 1900 retail stores and more than 75 brands in total on all platforms, while employing over 16,500 multicultural staff. It recently launched US-based Victoria’s Secret’s first physical store in Mumbai and has a portfolio of several other international brands like Aldo, Charles & Keith under franchisee agreements.

The group has plans to launch one more offline store of Victoria’s Secret in New Delhi before the end of this year. It has also opened Japan-based Daiso in Chandigarh, a value accessory home department store, along with Dubai’s R&B fashion brand.

Canadian footwear brand Aldo will launch a collection in partnership with Janhvi Kapoor. By partnering with her, the brand is looking to appeal to a younger demographic with its premium footwear.
