Cantabil Retail India aims to increase the brand’s revenues to Rs 1,000 crore by FY27. To support this ambitious target, it plans to open 60 to 70 new stores in FY25-26.
Originally known for menswear, Cantabil has successfully expanded its offerings to include apparel, footwear, accessories, and athleisure for men, women, and children, establishing itself as a comprehensive lifestyle retailer.
A key part of Cantabil's growth strategy is its aggressive expansion in western India, particularly Maharashtra. The company currently operates 66 EBOs across the state, with 23 stores located in Mumbai alone. This strong presence in Mumbai highlights the city's crucial role in the company's broader objective of strengthening its national footprint in the organized fashion retail sector.
Cantabil's reach in Maharashtra extends beyond Mumbai to include major urban centers and emerging markets. This includes 17 stores in Pune and its surrounding areas, 5 in Nagpur, and 4 in Nashik. The brand also has a presence in other cities such as Amravati, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nanded, Jalgaon, and Solapur. This widespread regional coverage features both dedicated menswear stores and multi-category outlets, aligning with Cantabil's transformation into a full-fledged lifestyle brand.
Looking ahead, Cantabil plans to further expand within Maharashtra. The brand has identified high-opportunity areas for future growth including Ulwe and New Panvel in Mumbai, along with Pune's Sinhagad Road, Wagholi, Wakad, and Bibwewadi. Additionally, cities like Latur, Dhule, Jalna, Parbhani, Osmanabad, and Gondia are on their radar, as well as Jalna Road in Aurangabad.
Deepak Bansal, Director, Cantabil Retail India, emphasizes, the company is committed to establish its presence wherever its customers are located; be it bustling metros or fast-growing cities. As it evolves from a menswear label to a complete lifestyle brand, Cantabil continues to deliver aspirational and accessible fashion.
