Dinkar Ayilavarapu, Partner, Bain & Company has been appointed the new Vice President for Corporate Strategy by Flipkart. Ayilavarapu will lead Flipkart’s corporate strategy team to strengthen its vision and OKR (objectives and key results) planning. He has over 18 years of experience and was employed with Bain & Company for 14 years in their India, New York and South Africa office. He was the part of the analyst’s Results Delivery and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practices in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ayilavarapu was also the author of Bain & Company’s India Philanthropy Report and a member of the CII National Committee on Regulatory Affairs. He has also worked with ITC Ltd (in their Foods & Tobacco division) and with technology company Accenture. An MBA from IIM Kolkata, Ayilavarapu also holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Delhi University.
