An Indian retail company, V-Mart Retail has reported a robust 12.6 per cent Y-o-Y revenue growth to Rs 885 crore in Q1 FY25, as against Rs 786 crore ($94.70 million) during the same period last year.

This significant increase was primarily driven by steady demand in their existing locations.

The retail chain also demonstrated strong performance due to new store launches, contributing to a 1 per cent Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG). V-Mart opened 15 new stores across various regions including Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Telangana, and Maharashtra. These additions bring their total store count to 510. Strategically, the company also closed two underperforming stores.

These figures underscore V-Mart's strong presence in Tier-II and Tier-III cities and their expansive operations, catering to a wide demographic.
