Labael Deeya presents ethnic wear with a whimsical touch

 30 December 2022, Mumbai

Label Deeya presented a whimsical, feminine take on ethnic and fusion wear at its runway show at the Bangalore Fashion Week recently. The women’s wear brand’s latest collection was titled ‘Sukshma’ and featured delicate looks for festivals and weddings. As models walked the runway in Bangalore to showcase Sukshma, images of an ethereal destination wedding or party sprang to mind. The whimsical collection’s main textile was organic Chanderi, fabricated using a weaving technique that has endured in India for centuries. The brand chose this fabric for its sustainable production process and its heritage credentials. The collection had white as its main colour with yellow and magenta accents to add a youthful feel.

Where some looks followed traditional silhouettes, others took a more fusion approach and gave a nod to the British regency dresses popularized by recent TV series such as Bridgerton. Label Deeya focuses on sustainable outfits and believes in slow fashion. The collection is sustainable, understated, yet glamorous. The brand believes in making garments which are made of high quality fabrics, intricate handmade embroidery and thoughtful detailing. Label Deeya retails through Whatsapp and specializes in feminine fusion wear and uses ruffles, florals, and organic fabrics. Label Deeya is committed to make every design hold a story.
