Onitsuka Tiger has opened a store in Hyderabad. The store is 5500 sqft and features state-of-the-art interiors, enabling customers to immerse themselves in the brand.
For a seamless assortment of all collections, the retail space showcases its curated footwear and children’s wear collection on the ground floor, with the first floor entirely dedicated to a wide range of apparel and accessories.The store also houses a lounge sitting area, providing a superior and comfortable shopping experience to fashion and sneaker connoisseurs.
Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger continues to present a contemporary collection that combines fashion with sports, and heritage with innovation. Onitsuka Tiger first entered the Indian market in 2017 by launching brick-and-mortar stores in Delhi and Mumbai and then launching a dedicated e-commerce store for the country. The brand is known for its fashion-focused sportswear which mixes Japanese aesthetics with performance wear.
Onitsuka Tiger is run by Asics, the Japanese performance sportswear firm. Asics entered the Indian market in 2015 and launched its sports lifestyle brand.
Asics was established in 1949. Presently, the bulk of its sales comes from the footwear segment and the rest from apparels.
The Indian footwear retail market is one of the rapidly growing sectors today. India is the second largest footwear producer in the world.
