In the heart of Mumbai's art district, Kala Ghoda, Anita Dongre has inaugurated her flagship store in the 200-year-old Sassoon Building.
The expansive store, spanning three floors and covering an area of 8,500 sq ft, offers a range of items, including jewellery, accessories, menswear, and bridal wear. The ground floor displays jewellery, newly launched vegan accessories, Grassroot, and a ready-to-wear collection. On the second floor, visitors can explore menswear, while the third floor showcases bridal wear.
Anita Dongre is the founder of her eponymous brand, which has flagship stores in India and global markets. Since launching her brand in 1995, she has also created subsidiary brands, including And, Grassroot, and Global Desi.
Her vision for the new store was to combine Indian crafts with colonial architecture and nature-inspired art, creating a multi-sensory experience for visitors.
