Eponymous designer Anju Modi presented a men’s and women’s couture collection named ‘The Road Less Travelled’ at India Couture Week with actress AditiRaoHydari as a showstopper.
Womenswear included classic sarees and lehengas as well as more fusion style layered looks in monochrome, jewel tones, and more subtle hues.

Menswear included floral embroidered waistcoats and all-white ensembles with a nostalgic feel.
The collection was accessorized with traditional finery by Shri Amrapali Jewels for both men and women and models were styled with natural hair and makeup. Other accessories included beaded and velvet evening bags, leather belts, and vintage-style hats.
The collection encompasses one's learnings and experiences through various walks around the world,opines FDCI, the collection speaks of how taking the longest routes and crossing glimmering rivers, can lead to a wave of change in our very being.”
India Couture Week runs from July 22 to 31 at the Taj Palace in New Delhi as well as at a number of offsite locations. Organized by the Fashion Design Council of India, fashion week is celebrating its 15th anniversary this season, in which 13 brands have been selected to participate.
