Dhruv Kapoor S/S’22 collection combines old & new designs

11 April 2022, Mumbai:

The latest Spring/Summer 2022 collection of designer Dhruv Kapoor combines old and new silhouettes, colors, and handcrafted details.

The collection is inspired by the poster designs of the 70s, hand-embroidered floral designs, and stylized landscapes mixed with tones of digital violet.

Contemporary Indian women’s and menswear designer, Kapoor launched his brand in 2015.

His collections use a mix of custom prints and textiles by Indian hand embroiderers and textile artisans.

They are defined by juxtaposed elements and great attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and an eclectic use of materials.

All of Kapoor's collections aim to go beyond gender stereotypes and conventions while being focused on the research for new perspectives and an emphasis on cultural diversity.
