Sitaram Denims to launch RMG unit in Bhilwara

Sitaram Denims plans to launch an IPO to focus on downstream retail integration by launching a dedicated readymade garment manufacturing unit at Banera, Bhilwara. The strategic move aims to capture higher gross margins by transitioning from B2B fabric sizing and weaving into full-scale apparel production.

Working capital dynamics highlight operational pivot

Industry financial metrics underscore a structural shift across domestic textile supply chains. Sitaram reported revenue of Rs 243.90 crore in FY26, backed by Rs 75.1 crore in Q1 FY27 revenue. However, extended inventory cycles of 264 days reflect broader sector liquidity constraints. Transitioning into direct garmenting provides the higher unit economics needed to offset raw material volatility, noted an equity research analyst covering retail textiles. The company plans to deploy Rs 23.23 crore from proceeds toward working capital to optimize operational efficiency.

Building integrated garment capacity to tap expanding demand

Sitaram Denims processes denim fabrics, sized yarn, and woven textiles primarily for domestic manufacturing hubs. Operating out of Rajasthan, the company is building integrated garment capacity to capitalize on expanding domestic apparel demand. For FY26, total income reached Rs 243.90 crore, maintaining steady revenue trajectory.
