Deepa started Yashram in 2007 with a group of 10+ team members with an aim to change and improve the quality of life for girls. Inspired by women across the country, her ideas endeavor to create a more comfortable world for them at their most vulnerable stages in life.
What started as a dream today is a proud Made-in-India MSME that today has an ARR of INR 7.4 crores with an in-house manufacturing capability of 50000 pieces per month and rolls out over 10000 orders a month through offline retail outlets and popular online marketplaces.

She holds the patent for the "Sanitary Undergarment” inventionfrom the United States Patent Office in March 2015 and an Indian Patent for the same product in February 2019.
