Reliance Trends expands with stylish new store in Kannur, Kerala
Reliance Trends, the prominent fashion and lifestyle department store chain, has unveiled a new retail outlet in Kerala's Kannur district. Situated at SN Park Road, Padanapalam, Kannur, this standalone store spans an expansive 18,600 square feet of retail space.
Positioning itself as Reliance Retail's premier and rapidly expanding apparel and accessories specialist, the Kannur store exudes contemporary allure. It features an extensive selection of top-notch fashion items crafted to resonate with local tastes, all while maintaining wallet-friendly prices.
In less than two decades, Reliance Trends has remarkably expanded its presence to encompass over 1,000 cities and towns nationwide. Established in 2007, it operates under the umbrella of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd., which oversees all retail ventures of Reliance Industries. Besides carrying both Indian and international brands, Reliance Trends features its exclusive private labels like Rio, Fig, Avaasa, Fusion, Hushh, and Frendz.
Within the Reliance Retail portfolio, other fashion and lifestyle brands such as Avantra by Trends, Trends Footwear, Reliance Jewels, Azorte, Centro, Fashion Factory, and Ajio thrive. Currently, Reliance Retail boasts more than 2,300 Trends stores across 1,100 Indian cities.
Looking ahead, the retail giant plans to modernize approximately 150 Trends stores throughout India, integrating contemporary aesthetics and tech-enhanced features like self-checkout counters and electronic shelf labels to entice a younger demographic. This strategic move commenced with the unveiling of a revamped Trends concept store in Surat, followed by another in Ambience Mall, Gurugram.
