Ritika Mirchandani launches new couture collection, ‘The Third Path’

18 September 2025, Mumbai
Ritika Mirchandani launched her new couture collection, ‘The Third Path,’ this August. The collection offers a confident, modern take on Indian couture, staying true to the brand's signature clean lines and bugle-work embroidery.
Inspired by a space where opposites meet, ‘The Third Path’ blends tradition and modernity together without compromise. This collection offers a deliberate and beautiful clash of crafts, timelines, and philosophies. It honors centuries of artisanal heritage while feeling fresh and contemporary.
Each piece of this collection is handcrafted using the brand's signature techniques, including bugle-work, zari, aari, pita, kashida, and kasab embroidery. It showcases a harmony created through contrast rather than uniformity, with geometric layers, subtle finishes, and sharp tailoring. Prominent looks include belted jackets paired with lehenga-shararas, pre-pleated sarees with a soft shimmer, and delicately embroidered corsets.
The collection also features a small bridal edit of four to five looks that move away from heavy traditionalism. These pieces, with their neat drapes and linear details, are designed for the modern bride who seeks power and grace in reinterpretation rather than nostalgia.
Mirchandani reinterprets traditional motifs from courtly regalia, Mughal florals, and Persian geometry by fracturing, mirroring, and recutting them. The result is a collection that pays homage to the past while challenging it with a rebellious spirit.
The collection will be previewed through private studio appointments for select stylists and media from August 8-10. It will be available at the Ritika Mirchandani flagship studio in South Mumbai and at top multi-designer stores including Pernia's, Aza, Ensemble, and Ogaan, as well as online at ritikamirchandani.com.
