UK-based footwear brand Fitflop has opened a store in Mumbai. The store houses collections such as Lulu, Gracie, Rumba, and more that include toe-post sandals, trainers, ballerinas, clogs, and boots.
In 2022, Metro Brands had signed a strategic partnership with Fitflop to exclusively retail and distribute the brand in India across various platforms and channels. FitFlop was launched in 2007 and is currently available in around 65 countries.
FitFlop creates the world's most addictive ergonomic sandals, shoes and boots, using world-class design, a splash of fashion, and a continuously innovating mix of beauty, brains and biomechanics. Fitflop sandals have supportive soles for extra comfort in brown or black.
In India, Fitflop is available across 130 plus multi-brand outlets, including 110 Metro and Mochi stores as well as online portals and on Myntra. Metro Brands is a footwear and accessories retailer, with 586 stores across 134 cities and spread across 29 states and union territories in India. The footwear company runs four brands under its umbrella, Metro Shoes, Mochi, Crocs and Walkway. Online marketplaces including Myntra, Flipkart and Amazon collectively contribute 85 per cent of its sales whereas its own portal contributes 15 per cent of the sales. Additionally, it plans to expand the product portfolio.
