Revive Home targets higher conversion rates with maiden foray into brick-and mortar retail

14 February 2026, Mumbai

The Indian home décor landscape is witnessing a significant shift as digital-native brands aggressively colonize physical retail spaces to drive higher conversion rates. Leading this transition, D2C startup Revive Home announced its maiden entry into brick-and-mortar retail through strategic alliances with multi-brand chains. This ‘phygital’ expansion is designed to double the brand's current earnings, targeting Rs 100 crore revenue run rate by FY26-27-end.

Strategic regional rollout

The initial phase of this offline offensive will prioritize high-consumption hubs, with the brand establishing a presence in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru by June 2026. Industry data suggests, while 90 per cent of Indian retail remains offline, D2C brands that integrate physical touchpoints see a 30 per cent reduction in customer acquisition costs. Physical retail is the next frontier for scale; it bridges the trust gap for high-ticket artisanal products, noted Sangeeta Vasishta, Director, Revive Home. The rollout will begin with four flagship shop-in-shop formats, allowing customers to experience the tactile quality of handcrafted furniture and antique-inspired accents.

Navigating high-street competition

This move comes at a time when the home furnishing market is projected to reach $11.51 billion by 2031. However, the transition involves steep operational complexities, including a 15–20 per cent increase in inventory overheads compared to online-only models. Revive Home aims to mitigate these risks by leveraging data-driven inventory management to align store stock with regional aesthetic preferences. By focusing on ‘contemporary premium’ segments, the brand is positioning itself to capture urban millennials who are increasingly shifting from mass-produced items to products with artisanal heritage and supply-chain transparency.

Revive Home is a design-centric D2C brand specializing in handcrafted home décor and furniture inspired by traditional Indian craftsmanship. Targeting the premium urban segment, it plans to expand from an online-first model to a pan-India physical presence, aiming for a Rs 100 crore revenue target following a year of steady digital growth.
