Tirupur-based Garment Mantra Lifestyle has reported a landmark performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, achieving consolidated export revenues of Rs 132.72 crore. This represents a substantial 60 per cent Y-o-Y increase, fueled by a robust international order book and the strategic expansion of its ‘value-for-money’ apparel range. The company’s growth is particularly significant as it follows a structural shift in the textile sector, where Indian manufacturers are filling the void left by global supply chain reconfigurations. With geopolitical tensions in the Middle East beginning to stabilize, the firm anticipates a sustained demand tailwind throughout the first half of the new fiscal cycle.

Sustainable textiles and market diversification

A key driver of this commercial momentum is the company’s recent entry into sustainable apparel, including the sampling of recycled-fabric men’s T-shirts tailored for the African and UAE markets. This diversification aligns with a broader industry trend where eco-conscious production is no longer a niche requirement but a prerequisite for global procurement. Crossing the Rs 130 crore threshold validates our focus on operational excellence and timely delivery, noted Prem Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director. To support this scale, the company has integrated high-tech manufacturing at its Tirupur hub, optimizing its 5,000+ SKU portfolio to meet the rapid turnaround times required by international wholesalers.

Infrastructure and distribution roadmap

While exports lead the growth story, Garment Mantra is simultaneously reinforcing its domestic infrastructure. The company recently operationalized a centralized marketing office in Mumbai to bridge the gap between rural production and global institutional buyers. Challenged by the inherent volatility of raw material costs, the firm is leveraging recent Union Budget textile schemes – designed to stabilize fiber pricing - to protect its margins. With a current unexecuted order book estimated at Rs 40 crore, the focus remains on high-volume, quality-led distribution across its expanding network in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.

Formerly Junction Fabrics & Apparels, Garment Mantra is a Tirupur-based manufacturer specializing in knitted fabrics and hosiery. Serving the mass and premium segments through brands like Hylex and Monk, the company is scaling its international footprint in the Middle East and Africa. With FY26 export revenues hitting Rs 132.72 crore, it targets aggressive global expansion.
