PDS Limited has formally transitioned its UAE-based garment trading unit into a wholly owned subsidiary, marking a significant move in its global restructuring strategy. On March 9, 2026, the group’s subsidiary, PDS Multinational FZCO, acquired the remaining 25 per cent equity stake in PDS Radius Brands FZCO for a consideration of $6,812. Confirmed by UAE regulatory authorities on March 13, this transaction eliminates minority ownership and simplifies the corporate hierarchy. By gaining 100 per cent control, PDS aims to accelerate turnaround initiatives and centralize decision-making for its Middle Eastern ready-made garment operations, which reported a turnover of Rs 6.62 crore in FY24-25.
Optimizing global supply chain resilience
This consolidation arrives as PDS navigates a complex global landscape, characterized by a 14 per cent Q-o-Q topline growth in late 2025 and an order book valued at Rs 5,308 crore. While the company has faced margin pressures due to rising interest costs - which increased by 25.75 per cent Y-o-Y- the UAE integration is expected to bolster its asset-light platform model.
